What is included
Installation and dismantling can be booked as part of a turnkey exhibit or as a service on its own. Depending on the agreed scope it covers:
- coordinating the crew and supervising the installation
- completing the punch list and checking the booth before the show opens
- dismantling, repacking and arranging the return shipment
Who is responsible on site
When supervision is part of the scope, an ET Expo project manager or site supervisor runs the crew, the venue requirements, the vendors and the schedule. The name of that contact and the hours covered are confirmed before move-in.
Labor rules and EAC paperwork
Labor rules differ by city, venue and show. Some convention centers require union labor for unloading, electrical work, rigging or part of the installation, and an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor may need advance authorization, insurance documents and worker credentials. ET Expo reviews the rules that apply to each show.
If something goes wrong
The team first documents the problem and keeps the area safe, then works out the quickest practical fix - a repair, a replacement graphic, a local purchase, a freight trace or a venue service order.
