Privacy Policy

1. Who this notice covers

This notice applies to www.etexpous.com and the services reachable from it.

This notice is issued by ET EXPO INC, trading as ET Expo, of 4915 Steptoe St #200, Las Vegas, NV 89122, United States. ET EXPO INC decides why and how the personal information described here is used. If you have a question about this notice, contact us at etexpo01@etexpous.com.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

When you submit a quote request through this site, the form collects:

If you request a quote through one of our advertising landing pages, the same contact details are collected by that page's form. If you create a customer account, we also store the account credentials and profile details you provide, and any testimonial or review you choose to submit.

If you reach us through an online advertisement, the advertising parameters in the link you clicked — including the campaign identifiers and the click identifier issued by the advertising platform — are stored with your enquiry so we can tell which advertising led to it. We also store the page you arrived on and the address of the site you came from. On the rest of the website we deliberately do not keep these identifiers: we record only that one was present.

Once an enquiry reaches us, our staff also record internal handling information against it, such as its status, the colleague it is assigned to, and internal notes about the enquiry.

2.2 Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-0MCMJCB8B2) to understand how the site is used. The Google tag is loaded when the page loads, but it starts in a consent-denied mode: it stores no analytics or advertising cookies and receives no analytics or advertising storage permission until you allow them. Because the tag is requested from Google, Google receives your IP address, browser type and the page address even before you make a choice. We ask Google to anonymise the IP address, and we switch off Google Signals and ad personalisation.

We also record limited internal events on advertising landing pages — for example that a call, email or call-to-action link on the page was clicked, and which page a lead came from.

3. Cookies and browser storage

This site shows a cookie banner on your first visit and stores your choice. Cookies are grouped into three categories:

We also use two other kinds of browser storage. Your cookie choice is kept in a cookie named etexpo_consent for 180 days, with a copy in your browser's local storage for browsers that refuse the cookie. On an advertising landing page, the advertising parameters from the link you clicked are held in your browser's session storage while you move around the site, and are cleared when you close the tab. We also read two flags, held in either local or session storage, that let us exclude our own automated testing from analytics.

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences control on any page of this site. It reopens the consent dialog, where analytics and advertising can be allowed or refused separately. Clearing this site's cookies and stored site data in your browser also resets the choice and makes the banner appear again.

4. How we use your information

We do not use your information for direct marketing. We do not send marketing emails, run mailing lists, or sell or share your information with anyone for their own marketing. The messages we send about an enquiry or an account are service messages, not marketing.

Why we are allowed to use your information

We use the information described in this notice for the purposes set out above. Where the law that applies to you requires us to identify a specific legal basis, the basis for each purpose is given in brackets.

Where we rely on our legitimate interests, we have considered whether those interests are overridden by your own interests and rights, and we will tell you more about that assessment if you ask.

5. Who we share it with

We use Google Analytics as an analytics provider. Where you allow advertising cookies, advertising platforms may also receive campaign measurement data.

To deliver a project you have engaged us for, we share what is necessary with the freight carriers who transport your stand and with the show organiser or venue where it is installed — for example the delivery address, your booth number, and the move-in and show dates. We share only what those parties need to get your stand delivered and standing on time, and only for that purpose. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

To be completed by ET Expo: every other processor that receives personal data — email, hosting, CRM and payment providers — and any transfer outside the United States.

6. How long we keep it

Quote enquiries and the files attached to them — kept for 24 months after the last contact about the enquiry, then deleted.

Customer accounts — kept while the account is open. If you ask us to close it, we delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep records for tax or legal reasons.

Published testimonials — kept while published. If you withdraw one it is unpublished immediately and deleted within 30 days.

Project records — kept for 7 years after a project completes, so we can honour warranties and answer questions about work we delivered.

We are putting these periods into effect as a matter of policy; until the automated deletion is in place, records are removed on the schedule above by our staff.

7. Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

To make a request, email us at etexpo01@etexpous.com with the words “privacy request” in the subject. We will acknowledge it within 5 business days and respond within 45 days. Before we act we need to be reasonably sure the request comes from you: we will reply to the email address already held on your enquiry or account and ask you to confirm, and for anything beyond a copy of your own record we may ask for one further detail that matches what we hold. We do not ask for identity documents. If we cannot verify a request we will tell you why.

8. Security

This site is served over HTTPS, administrative access requires a separate sign-in with one-time password verification, and form submissions are protected against cross-site request forgery.

9. Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children.
