PACK EXPO International is PMMI's packaging and processing show at McCormick Place, and many booths there are working production lines - machines that arrive crated, need rigging crews and final utility hookups before the doors open. ET Expo designs and fabricates the booth structure in-house, then ships and installs it around your equipment.

Planning a booth for this show

  • Machines set the schedule: target move-in dates apply to machinery and display materials, and a target time is only marshalling-yard check-in - unloading can take hours, so we build the install plan around your machines' slot.
  • Rigging crews: forklift or crane crews are ordered in advance to uncrate, position and re-skid machines; we design the booth so machines go in before walls and graphics close around them.
  • Aisle setback: display material and machinery sit at least 1 ft back from every aisle, which we draw into the layout from the start.
  • Utilities on the drawing: every utility order needs a floor plan, and a final electrical hookup needs someone from your team present, so power, air and water points are marked on our booth drawing.
  • Hard setup deadline: booths must be finished and empties cleared by 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 17, when aisle carpet goes down.
