Wichita booth builder

Wichita Trade Show Booth Design

ET Expo designs, builds, ships and installs custom and rental trade show booths for exhibitors at Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center on West Douglas Avenue in downtown Wichita.

Century II opened in 1969, built by the city, and its exhibits run across three connected spaces. Bob Brown Expo Hall, added in 1986, is 93,000 sq ft of open floor with an 8-bay loading dock, a 20 x 40 ft overhead door, and utilities in the floor on 30 ft centers, around the perimeter and from the catwalks. Exhibition Hall offers 45,000 sq ft plus a 17,500 sq ft mezzanine, Convention Hall opens to 32,000 sq ft when its loge seating retracts, and a 60 ft retractable wall links all three; Kennedy Plaza outside can take outdoor displays. We design with 3D renderings, fabricate in-house, and ship, install and dismantle.

Frequently asked questions

Can we ship our booth to Century II ahead of the show?

Not large shipments: Century II does not receive freight before the contracted move-in date, and early freight is sent to the show's decorator for drayage.

Who connects booth power at Century II?

Only Century II staff electricians. Circuits are brought to the back of the booth or one side of an island, and each booth needs its own outlet order.

Is union labor required?

Any use of the stages requires IATSE Local 190 stagehands. For booth installation, the show's decorator and the facility guidelines set the rules, and we plan around them.

How big is Bob Brown Expo Hall?

93,000 sq ft of open floor, with an 8-bay loading dock and a 20 x 40 ft overhead door for large exhibits.
