Richmond booth builder

Richmond Trade Show Booth Design

ET Expo designs, builds, ships and installs custom and rental trade show booths for exhibitors at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, Virginia's largest exhibition and meeting facility, on North Third Street downtown.

The GRCC opened in 2003 and belongs to the Greater Richmond Convention Center Authority, a political subdivision created by the local jurisdictions, with Oak View Group managing it. Its exhibit hall is about 178,000 contiguous sq ft that splits into four sections and up to 10 layouts, holding roughly 900 10x10 booths, on a floor rated at 350 lb per sq ft. The Exhibit Hall dock has 16 lit bays and two ramps, with trucks unloading at the corner of 3rd and Leigh Streets, and a separate four-bay dock serves the ballroom. We take a booth from 3D design through in-house fabrication, graphics, freight, installation, dismantling and storage.

No. The GRCC does not accept event freight for exhibitors; shipments go through the show's decorator, and early arrivals are refused unless approved in writing.

When are hanging-sign plans due at the GRCC?

Encore, which holds exclusive audiovisual rigging rights, needs the rigging plan no later than 21 days before load-in and recommends 30 to 45 days.
