Philadelphia Trade Show Booth Design
ET Expo designs, builds, ships and installs custom and rental booths for exhibitors at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on Arch Street in Center City.
The Pennsylvania Convention Center has seven exhibit halls totaling 679,000 sq ft, with 528,000 sq ft contiguous, and 45 loading docks. It sits above SEPTA's Jefferson Station, close to 2 subway lines, 7 Regional Rail lines and 15 bus routes. Its January 2026 Enhanced Exhibitor Work Rules give full-time exhibitor employees unusual freedom - setup without booth-size limits, power tools and ladders up to 6 ft, and unloading their own sedan, SUV, pickup or van - but only when no exhibit-appointed contractor is hired to set up the booth. That choice affects budget and crew planning, so we settle it early, then design, fabricate, ship, install and dismantle.

Can our employees set up the booth at the Pennsylvania Convention Center?
Yes - full-time employees may set up and tear down without booth-size limits, using power tools and ladders up to 6 ft, as long as no EAC is contracted to set up the booth.
If ET Expo installs the booth, who does the lighting?
When an EAC or decorator is used, show labor electricians install all light fixtures, lit signage and stem lights. We plan the electrical scope with that in mind.
Can we unload our own vehicle?
A non-commercially registered sedan, SUV, pickup or van can be unloaded at a designated area with your own dollies or hand trucks; trailers, bobtails and stakebeds do not qualify.
Is BIO coming back to the city?
BIO lists the BIO International Convention in Philadelphia for June 7-10, 2027.
