Minneapolis booth builder

Minneapolis Trade Show Booth Design

ET Expo designs, fabricates and installs custom and rental exhibits for shows at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Second Avenue South, with its five domed exhibit halls.

The convention center's Halls A, B, C and E are 99,000 sq ft each and Hall D is 79,200 sq ft, all rated for a 350 lb per sq ft floor load. Halls B-E give 30 ft 6 in clear to the lowest truss and 85 ft to the top of the 210 ft clear-span domes, with rigging heights at 30 ft, 41 ft 9 in and 65 ft 6 in - room for tall hanging structures in the right spot. Trucks work from a 150,000 sq ft marshaling yard with same-level docks (7 for Hall B, 8 each for C, D and E) and underground access to Hall A. Exhibitors get 45 free minutes to unload. Water features are not allowed in Hall B. From the first rendering to the last crate, our team covers design, build, freight, install and dismantle.

Frequently asked questions

Can we build a two-story booth at the Minneapolis Convention Center?

It is possible, but each level - including a covered top deck - must have an automatic fire suppression system approved by the Fire Prevention Bureau and the MCC. We design for that from the start.

How high can a hanging sign go in Halls B-E?

Clear height is 30 ft 6 in to the lowest truss, with dome rigging points at 30 ft, 41 ft 9 in and 65 ft 6 in; final placement depends on your booth location.

How long can we unload in the marshaling yard?

Exhibitors get a 45-minute complimentary unload period; after that a daily parking fee applies unless you bought prepaid yard parking.

Which show is confirmed at the center for 2027?

The organiser lists the Minneapolis Home + Garden Show for February 24-28, 2027 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
