Milwaukee Trade Show Booth Design
ET Expo designs, builds, ships and installs custom and rental trade show booths for exhibitors at Baird Center, the Wisconsin Center District's convention center on West Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Milwaukee.
Baird Center reopened on May 16, 2024 after a $456M expansion that doubled it to 1.3 million sq ft, with 300,000 contiguous sq ft of exhibition space and 52 meeting rooms. Freight arrives at 22 loading docks and 4 drive-up ramps off 850 N. Sixth St.; trucks enter by the North Helix and leave by the South Helix, and where a show allows POV unloading each vehicle gets 15 minutes. Utilities shape the floor plan: only WCD electricians, engineers and IT technicians open the floor pockets, air and water come from pockets every 60 ft, and 480V service is hardwired from the ceiling bus-duct. We plan the booth around those points, then fabricate, ship, install and dismantle it.

Can we ship our booth straight to Baird Center?
No. The Wisconsin Center District does not accept advance freight; the booth ships to the show's decorator and is delivered during move-in, and we route it that way.
Who hangs a sign over our booth at Baird Center?
IATSE Local 18 is the exclusive rigging provider. Orders are due 14 days before the first contracted date, and the sign must arrive fully assembled.
Where does booth power come from on the exhibit floor?
Standard service runs from the nearest floor pocket, which only WCD staff may open; 480V is hardwired from the ceiling bus-duct. Air and water come from pockets every 60 ft, so we send a booth layout with the order.
What does ET Expo handle for a show here?
Design with 3D renderings, in-house fabrication, graphics and LED walls, freight coordination with the decorator, installation and dismantling, and storage between shows.
