Designing an island

Four open faces

Every side faces an aisle, so the design has no back wall to hide behind.

A central anchor

A tower, header or lit block that identifies the brand from across the hall.

Hanging signs

At the Venetian Expo a hanging sign up to 25 ft is allowed over islands of 400 sq ft or more.

Storage and meeting cores

Closed rooms placed in the middle keep the perimeter open for visitors.

Published island layouts

The booth package catalogue lists island layouts for every size from 20 x 20 ft up.

What clients say

Common questions

What is an island booth?

A booth with aisles on all four sides, so it is open and visible from every direction.

Can an island booth have a hanging sign?

Often, depending on the venue. At the Venetian Expo hanging signs up to 25 ft are allowed only over island and peninsula booths of 400 sq ft or more.

Which island booths have you built?

Published examples include Insta360 at NAB Show 2024, Chile at IMEX America 2024, Tilta at NAB Show 2023 and Diamsparkz at JCK 2022 and 2023.

Are there ready-made island layouts?

Yes. The booth package catalogue lists modular and custom island layouts for 20 x 20 ft and larger footprints.

Where do you build island booths?

Most of our work is in Las Vegas, and we also build for shows in other U.S. convention cities such as San Diego and San Francisco.
